2018-19 Athletics


In March, Greenhill appointed Jarrett Shine as its new Head of Athletics & Physical Education. Shine previously served as the Director of Alumni Relations/Head Football Coach at Brunswick School in Connecticut.
 

Brennan Andrews-Brown (football), Ananias Hayes (volleyball), JT Herrscher (track & field), and Mat Motlagh (tennis) all signed National Letters of Intent to compete at the NCAA Division I level.
 

Greenhill football announced they will be wearing state-of-the-art VICIS Zero1 helmets, which have earned a top-rating from the NFL's annual testing of football helmets with improved performance and ability to reduce injury risk.
 

JT Herrscher set the SPC Championship Meet Record in the pole vault after clearing a height of 15-8 this past May. Herrscher also won the SPC 110-meter hurdle title.
 

The Hornets had 22 student-athletes earn SPC all-conference recognition during the spring season. Girls track & field led the Hornets with 11 total all-conference performers.
 

Megan Olomu (100-meter dash) and Katy Goodwin (pole vault) each won individual titles at the SPC Spring Championships.
 

In total, Greenhill had 13 seniors that committed to play collegiate athletics at the NCAA Division I, II, and III levels.
 

The Hornets had 19 student-athletes earn All-SPC accolades during the fall and winter campaigns.
 

The girls cross country team won the Greenhill/Luke's Locker 6-Mile Relay for the third consecutive season.
